Back in the land of Oz..

Sheesh! Yeah, just plain 'sheesh'... I'm glad last week is gone! Anyway, looking forward... I've added a new page to my website. It has all the coverart I've designed to-date. Working on one now for another epublisher. This is going to be short, but felt I had to make at least one entry.

My booksigning - my first ever - is this Friday (04/27) at a large warehouse book fair near Charlottesville, VA. So, I'm busy getting that stuff taken care of. I've got about 7 chapters of edits to do that I fell behind on last week while my computer was down. And, I don't even want to go there!

So, check back over the weekend. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to share!

Anna has a problem. Relinquishing control wasn’t something she relished. The demons from her childhood of growing up in a dysfunctional family had left deep-rooted scars. Scars that had interfered in her adult life, including her marriage to Leon. She loved him. And, she knew he loved her. So, why couldn’t she trust the one man she’d given her heart to?

Tonight she’d make an honest effort with Leon’s promise to stop if she couldn’t handle being vulnerable. Facing her fears was the only way she’d overcome them. And, either she’d rise to the occasion, or continue to wallow in the black depths of fear. Would being bound and at Leon’s mercy finally set her free? Or, would she lose the battle and remain forever locked in her fears?

Ms. Montgomery has written a sweet erotic romance with light bondage and spanking. However, this is more along the lines of a couple using aspects of BDSM as a form of therapy. While the story was well written, it lacked in emotional descriptions. Although it contains graphic language and situations, I felt the author skimmed over the emotional aspects of what the heroine was feeling. The concept was present. It just didn’t dig deep enough.

All-in-all, if you are not into explicit descriptions, but enjoy a little kink in the bedroom, this is a good, quick read. On a heat level scale for erotica, it would squeak in as a two.
